A link to the article about Raphaele de Ferrari would be useful, wouldn't it? There is a complete Wikipedia article about him...

hardly ever writes a big big D

Because my friend, it it a nickname. Simply a shortened version of the original name. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2603:6010:C907:2681:D9B5:D260:D90B:DEDF (talk) 23:18, 14 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Good Morning,

My name is Francesco and I'm a Master's Course Student at the University of Bergamo. I'm from Genoa and I am updating or adding info to the English version of wikipedia regarding Genoa and its Heritage. In editing this article I noticed this sentence "so that the Genoese popularly refer to it as the "City" of Genoa" being from Genoa I can say that I have never heard of this, in my mind, Piazza de Ferrari is only referred to as Piazza Deffe. Also the sentence in the article isn't backed up by sources/references. Do you by any chance, have references regarding this element of the article?
