Untitled[edit]

Ok. Owing to my curiosity: why do this page need to be deleted?

It was created because

A I did not have an exact definition of the word, even though I've encountered it several times.

B Did not find it once i looked it up in Wikipedia.

C Quick googling yielded a meaningful definition that I found useful, and really missed in the Wikipedia

What i really would like to know, is where..

D Short, meaningful explaination posted on Wikipedia.

..did go wrong.

If it's too short (sub-stub length), too inaccurate or in any other way sub-standard I'd like to know, as that could be rememedied, and would, for future reference be quite useful.

If it's because articles that are really only word definitions, and in no way have potential to be more, should be on Wiktionary, I really need some mental readjustment, and will be left feeling somewhat disappointed from the fact that there will be no useful information on pittance the first and most obvious place I would have looked.

Enlight me please? Likeem 11:39, 11 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Move to wiktionary?[edit]

I'm a relative newbie when it comes to the actual editing of Wikipedia, but is there a way to move this article to Wiktionary? I did some research and it looks like there was some "transwiki" process, but I couldn't find the particulars of this.

This article is interesting, given the historical definition of the word "pittance", but I'm not sure it merits its own Wikipedia article. LimonesMI (talk) 20:22, 29 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
