Is this a typo for "test" or "taste", perhaps? What does "tast" mean in this context? -- John of Reading (talk) 09:46, 13 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

There seems to be a substantial number of citations for it, making it highly likely to be correct (at least now). Perhaps “tast” comes from another language, Czech maybe?
