Allegations of bias and POV

[edit]

The anti-drug policy section is severely skewed to emphasize the English speaking sphere point of view of the policy. There is only about 3-4 lines that talks about how the general public of Thailand view the policy. It portrayed the whole affair in a very negative light, only mentioning the point of view of some foreign human right organizations, while the general Thai people viewed it positively and it was effective in toning down the drugs crimes. The only survey that talked about how the public's opinion is done AFTER the "drugs war", in 2005, after Thai government dampen the policy to be less "ruthless", while the "drug war" happened in Feb 2003. It is extremely misleading in showing how the public view the policy in those 3 months and they are taken out of context in dealing demonstrating the public support of the actual policies. (Also the link to that opinion poll is down) It's like Thai people have no say in their own national policy and only western human right activist who are educated in "free thinking" knows what's right and what's wrong for the national policies of ANOTHER country. Way to be not condescending. 130.126.28.18 (talk) 01:59, 28 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
