Coal industry?[edit]

I;ve removed the following from the Newark Castle section where it's not relevant:

Also A fairly large industry was the coal business owned mainly by a Mr Martin Docherty of Port Glasgow.

Given that most towns had coalyards, this hardly seems notable. I'd have thought Vango and Playtex were more significant in the past, but sadly relegated now and not particularly exceptional. A more promising thing to add would be the Gourock Ropeworks, both for historical significance and as a listed building. Rock bands[edit]

Moved this text below out of the history section, as it had been inserted into the middle of an unrelated paragraph. I wasn't able to verify notability for these bands or the "Inverclyde Battle it off." -- Csari

Port Glasgow has a sucsessfull number of Rock Bands like "Total Annihilation","Tony Shoebox" ect.. Total Annilation has won some major compititions like the Inverclyde Battle it off,there most famous song would be "Enter the land of the forgotton"
