Multiple Processor

Is the "MP" on the 9600/200MP and 9500/180MP officially^{[note 1]} short for Multiple Processor"? Because on the Quadra 840AV, Quadra 660AV, Centris 660AV, Power Macintosh 6100 (/60AV, /66AV), Power Macintosh 7100 (/66AV, /80AV) and Power Macintosh 8100 (/80AV, /100AV), the "AV" indicates the computer has AV ports.
