Benefit cap
[edit]In the section about the two child benefit cap (strangely titled "Suspension of rebel Labour MPs") we introduce information that is irrelevant to Kid Starver's regime and which is presumably available by following the wikilink to the benefit cap page. Specifically, we say
1) "The cap was introduced in 2013 as part of the coalition government's wide-reaching welfare reform agenda which included the introduction of Universal Credit and reforms of housing benefit and disability benefits". This is supported by a reference from 2014.
2) "The government cited wide public support for the measure, despite it being highly controversial". Sourced to a reference from 2016.
3) "The benefit cap primarily affects families with children, high rents, or both". This is supported by a reference from 2023.
None of the references mentions Keith's regime. Burrobert (talk) 03:00, 13 October 2024 (UTC)
