The following statement in the article is inaccurate:

"By Operation Desert Storm in 1991, the FATC had matured into what is known today as the Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS)"

By my recollection, the Army didn't start fielding AFATDS until 1994. I was in the First Cavalry Division during Desert Storm (1991), and we were still on TACFIRE/BCS. After redeployment to home station, many units received IFSAS as an interim measure (especially RC units), since IFSAS was interoperable with both TACFIRE and AFATDS. If my recollection is correct, the 1st Cavalry Division and other CONUS based deployable active Army divisions didn't start receiving AFATDS until 1994. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.60.242.111 (talk) 20:59, 2 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Located where?[edit]

No mention in article of New Jersey; box says in Maryland, but two of the three cats relate to New Jersey; will add a Maryland cat also. Hugo999 (talk) 20:42, 5 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

They moved from Ft. Monmouth, NJ to Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD last year as part of the Base Realignment and Closure Act (BRAC). Probably some old links... now that Ft. Monmouth is closed PMBC has no presence I'm aware of in NJ. --Sam (talk) 04:29, 28 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
