Reference for "New Media Centre"[edit]

Unfortunatley, there is currently no information availible either on the internet or in a book, so references can not be provided for this section. I actually go to Prudhoe Community High School, so I have this sort of imformation availible. I will see if I can get a picture of the constructio site, and there is time lapse video of the construction on youtube. Sco1996 | I will respond. 12:30, 15 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please read WP:Original research for why this should not be included. noq (talk) 18:49, 15 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Someone has to start the train rolling. If you don't make the information availible then nobody can publish it. I may have found a link to a website with the information on it. Sco1996 | I will respond. 12:50, 16 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Someone may have to start the train rolling - but it should not be on Wikipedia. The reference you added was to another wiki and as such is not a WP:reliable source. noq (talk) 13:10, 16 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
An official wiki that only teachers use as a way of providing students with correct information for use for homework. Sco1996 | I will respond. 10:04, 17 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
A wiki hosted on a create your own own free wiki site is definitely not a WP:reliable source. noq (talk) 12:36, 17 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Especially as it appears you created it yourself. See [1]. This quote "I also disagree with references often the information has not been pulished in some form yet" is especially informative. noq (talk) 12:39, 17 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You did not respond to the second point. noq (talk) 12:45, 17 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, I was editing the page and you came in and added something whilst I was typing out my bit. Here is my responce: I found a good reference. The wiki is actually a buisness wiki that the school pays for. It is not about the site that the wiki is hosted on, it is about the wiki itself. It is a project that me and one of my teachers have been working on for quite some time. Just because I desiagree with some things, taht does not mean to say that I never do it. Sco1996 | I will respond. 12:42, 17 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
But you lose credibility when you claim it as 'An official wiki that only teachers use' when it was obviously edited by you. Whether a teacher was involved is not clear and I would again remind you to read WP:original research and WP:reliable sources. The new reference you added does appear to be a lot better. noq (talk) 12:57, 17 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I get the use of the wiki as it was my idea in the first place. Apart from me, only teachers use it. Wikipedia is a wiki itself so it isn't exactly 100% reliable either. Although I don't agree with references all the time, the are helpful when trying to make a wiki as reliable as possible. Sco1996 | I will respond. 14:14, 18 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
