OpenStreetMap to *find* public bookcases
[edit]Who knows a good way to find/map public bookcases/LFLs using OpenStreetMap - website or mobile app? Tagging info mainly applies to *entering* OSM map data. How does a user find OSM LFLs? OpenStreetBrowser.org website didn't seem helpful. (:-( (LFL uses Google Maps to show LFL locations, but that excludes non-LFL libraries.) While there are dedicated apps to find public drinking water fountains and bathrooms, I haven't yet found a dedicated mobile app. Doug Grinbergs (talk) 19:38, 29 September 2018 (UTC)
precursors, informal
[edit]Long before any of these, informal exchanges existed in some coffee shops and in many youth hostels. I don't know if or how to incorporate or verify this (personal memory asserts its veracity, but Wikipedia needs citations). Kdammers (talk) 04:29, 27 July 2022 (UTC)
