Qb3
[edit]IMO, this is useless and unnecessary move. a3/h3 looks much better, because:
11. Qb3 h6 12. Bf4 Nh5? 13. Nxd5 cxd5 14. Bc7 Ndc5 <- Qb3 sucks here :(
- No, Qb3 isn't a problem as 15.Rxc5 wins easily for White. 24.177.112.146 06:28, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
13...cxd5 continuation
[edit]13...cxd5 14.Bc7 Nc5 15.Rxc5 Qd7 16.Ne5
avoids losing more than a pawn materially, me thinks.
- I think you are right. After 16...Qe6 17.Rc2, Houdini considers White to have an advantage of more than 2.5 pawns, but the material balance is only +1 in White's favor. Quale (talk) 04:46, 4 July 2013 (UTC)
