Financial updates

RELX published its annual report last week (https://www.relx.com/~/media/Files/R/RELX-Group/documents/reports/annual-reports/2019-annual-report.pdf), so there are some new figures available - please let me know if it's OK for me to make the changes myself as an employee, but otherwise I've summarised them here:

RELX (2019)

Revenue: 7,874bn | Operating income: 2,101bn | Net income: 1,505bn | Total assets: 13.789bn | Total equity: 2.190bn | No of employees: 33,000 | Adjusted operating profit: 2,491 | Adjusted EPS: 93p / €1.060

About 56% of revenues generated from North America (instead of US) | 21% from rest of world

Scientific, Technical & Medical

Revenues to Dec 2019 of £2.6bn | Sciencedirect contains 17m documents | Scopus contains 76m items in more than 25,000 | Elsevier has 18% market share (remove the FT source) | It publishes 496,000 articles a year

Exhibitions

I have updated the financials. Some of the other data probably should be independently sourced. Best wishes. Dormskirk (talk) 17:33, 25 February 2020 (UTC)
