Deletion
[edit]I recommend deletions based on WP:NOTE- it's not notable, WP:DICT - this looks like just a definition. Arthurrh 22:27, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
- The AfD notice wasn't posted at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/RKBA.
- I would vote keep -- the abbreviation needs more explanation for non-US readers; it is expected in Wikipedia now that four letter abbreviations are covered; there is no Wiktionary entry. --mervyn 08:20, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
It wasn't posted because I just think it's something we should discuss and see what the consensus is. If it looks like deletion is a path others want, then we can begin that process. Let's see what others have to say. If some think it should stay, I'd like to see sources on it. I'm a frequent shooter and I've NEVER heard the term used. Maybe it's regional? Can you point me to the right spot in the wiki policies about abbreviations being covered? If you already know, it'd save me some searching. We should reference that here. All I could find at WP:DICT is Wikipedia is not a dictionary, or a slang, jargon, or usage guide. Arthurrh 19:24, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
- A quick Google search under RKBA seems to indicate that it is a widely used acronym. Citations can be added to improve the article. --mervyn 17:03, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
Citations would be a good start, but it's still basically just a definition stub, that should be improved too, otherwise it would be best moved to wikitionary or merged into another more comprehensive article. If you cant say more than what's already there about it, I have to question the notability. Arthurrh 21:32, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
