As part of the Notability wikiproject, I am trying to sort out the open questions regarding notability of this article. While villages are generally considered notable (at least by current consensus), this article has some additional problems: It does not cite any sources, and so it is impossible (at least for me) to verify the claims being made about the village history. One option would be to reduce the article only to the verifiable facts, maybe only one line. Perhaps there is also another article into which this one might be merged. Do you know of one?
