Well BDA, correct me if I am wrong. lose is the American version of loose, and wikipedia prefers American spelling convention!

Actually, "lose" is the opposite of "win," and "loose" is the opposite of "tight." The spelling is the same around the globe for these two words. WhatamIdoing (talk) 04:58, 29 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
