Brothers...

[edit]

The folk story of Tisimir (Tjesimir), Kresimir and Elem has no proof at all, and king Miroslav didn't have three mentioned sons. See Laušić, Ante: Postanak i razvitak poljičke kneževine (do kraja XV. stoljeća), Književni krug Split, Biblioteka znanstvenih djela, Split 1991. Of course, as a legend it is OK, but should not be cited as relevant. Plantago 19:01, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

First written in 1440

[edit]

It seem clear that there were earlier redactions of the statute and that the one of 1440 was just the oldest one preserved. I'm not sure there's much knowledge or consensus about wheter the previous redactions where written or not, but the (poor) article on the poljica statute seems to suggest they were. I can't really check all the sources, but I would suggest rechecking them or some rewording. Personuser (talk) 04:51, 27 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
