In current law
[edit]The term may originate in Roman law, but the phenomenon still exists in modern law: you still may give up the proberty of a good by throwing it away. The artice should menion, or at least refer to current law in preferably multiple countries. I only know pertinent Dutch law. It gives a procedure to ascertain that the (former) owner indeed gave up its property. Rbakels (talk) 18:42, 21 October 2022 (UTC)
Multiple
[edit]"Res derelicta" is multiple. The sigular form "resderelica"is perhaps more common. Rbakels (talk) 18:44, 21 October 2022 (UTC)
