The link at the bottom seems to be broken. Someone should fix this. 128.120.52.166 (talk) 22:14, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
Multiple modifiers
[edit]"Image Quality: Any image generated algorithm related artifacts [...]"
Whoa, a noun ("artifacts") with no fewer than four words modifying it. I have no idea how to parse that. I'm guessing this should be "image-generation algorithm-related artifacts" — is that correct? In that case, the following would be much more readable: "artifacts of image-generation algorithms" — 217.46.147.13 (talk) 17:46, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
But what is it?
[edit]I've just read the summary, but the article just describes what it was designed for, but only hints at what it actually does. More detail and perhaps comparisons with other systems are needed. 82.139.86.10 (talk) 16:59, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
Dicing (step 3)
[edit]The dicing step currently says:
- Dice. Convert the primitive into a grid of micropolygons, each approximately the size of a pixel.
But that should actually be the size of half a pixel. The reason for this has to do with Shannon's information theory, and the fact that a pixel has to be sampled at at least twice it's size to be able to correctly recreate the information. For each dimension that is.
