what is the manufacturing process...?

WP:NOPAGE?[edit]

Does this "subject" really require its own article? If pared back to the cited content (two sources?) would there be anything left that couldn't just be merged to the primary Jeans article? Merge/redirect? Guliolopez (talk) 01:25, 7 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Last shout before I go ahead and merge the few pieces of usable/sourced content to the primary article(!?) Guliolopez (talk) 22:55, 2 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure there is any content here that belongs in Jeans. Ripped clothing in general is a fashion statement not limited to jeans. Tarl.Neustaedter (talk) 01:18, 11 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
There's a "used look" sub-section in the "manufacturing" section of jeans. The cited stuff about selling pre-distressed jeans could be put there. There's also a "trends" section. Perhaps the stuff about Fiske's theories could be put there (or summarised heavily and left in the manufacturing section). It is true that ripped clothing as a fashion statement isn't limited to jeans, but there's a whole section in the Fiske article dealing with that, and (unless there's other relevant study on the concept), it would likely make sense to leave that as it is. Adding a "clothing" section to the distressing article for example wouldn't seem appropriate. Last call before I merge/redirect this? Guliolopez (talk) 19:56, 2 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
