Is this a real river?

[edit]

I am not convinced that this is a real river. On Ordnance Survey maps, the River Blackwater continues past the confluence with the Whitewater, and remains the Blackwater until it reaches the Loddon. Twyford Brook which is quite a bit further to the north, was known as the Broadwater in 1813 and in 1923, and indeed is still marked as Broadwater Brook on Openstreetmap, although Ordnance Survey label it Twyford Brook.
