References added, the tone is as neutral and factual as possible. What more is required for neutrality? I've based this on what seemed best practice across a bunch of other robot software pages, but it's not obvious that consistent standards are being applied.

There is a new version of this MATLAB toolbox in Python https://github.com/petercorke/robotics-toolbox-python. Since I am conflicted, how can I help to create an article about it, and connect it to this article.
There is a larger problem around structure of articles and categories around robotics software.
- Robotics simulation software should be listed in Category robots. We also have Robot software and Robotics suite and category "Robotics suites". These categories/articles should be merged.
- There is also the category "Open-source robotics" and the definition Open-source robotics implies hardware only, yet most members of the category are software. If it really does include software, then Robotics Toolbox for MATLAB should be included
- Robot Operating System should be included in Robot software.
- Robotics Toolbox for MATLAB should be included in category "Robotics suites".

Relationship to other toolboxes

The Robotics System Toolbox for MATLAB^[1] is proprietary software published by MathWorks which includes support for robot manipulators and mobile robotics. Its functionality significantly overlaps that of the Robotics Toolbox for MATLAB but the programming model is quite different.

The Robotics Toolbox for Python is a reimplementation of the Robotics Toolbox for MATLAB for Python 3.^[2]^[3] Its functionality is a superset of the Robotics Toolbox for MATLAB, the programming model is similar, and it supports additional methods to define a serial link manipulator including URDF and elementary transform sequences.
