This article reads like an advertisement
[edit]The article should be fixed to make it properly encyclopedic, or it should be deleted. I'm leaning toward deletion. If only I could figure out how to propose such a thing, then I would certainly do so. Bloodbeard 17:15, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
- Aha, I am victor. If someone could figure out how to fix this article and make it not an advertisement, then I would certainly be amenable and willing to remove the deletion tag. Otherwise, it's up for deletion. I am the scourge. Wikipedia is not (supposed to be) an advertising service. Bloodbeard 17:29, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
- "Families, couples and individuals are welcome to visit the club." This kind of shit still lingers in the article: such an edit is exactly what I did not want. I could have done that myself, fer fuck's sake. I would bitch more, but I'm a lazy bastard. However, TALK PAGES EXIST FOR A FUCKING REASON. I'm not angry—just manic. Graah. - I would go a bit stronger in characterizing your actions and demeanor than the self-described "bastard", but I remind you that even bastards such as yourself are authorized to edit articles. Edit tools exist for a reason. Stop "bitching" and butcher away to your satisfaction. Alansohn 20:11, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, sir. I had a momentary lapse of sanity. Grandiosity or somesuch; I'm not trying to be funny here. I try to take responsibility for my actions, however, and I will thus do as you ask. Aside from the part that you removed, the wording in other parts of the article didn't seem objective and "encyclopedic" enough to me. Really, I just got carried away over very little and acted irrationally and impulsively. I know this must seem very odd to you, but, regardless, I apologize for my actions and the needless bother I have caused you. I'd like to say this doesn't happen very often, but it does. Alas. I will get to editing [the article] within the day. Bloodbeard 20:58, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, it's good now. The offending sentence has been removed. The article could probably benefit from better citing of sources, but that is beside the point; and being something of a prude, I don't care to go about browsing nudist pages. Really, some of those sites look and read like soft-core porn sites. Now, if you don't mind: would it be possible to remove all of the nonsense that I wrote on this talk page? It's a bit embarrassing. However, since I involved you in this, I won't do anything without your consent. Thank you for your patience. Probably. Bloodbeard 14:05, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
