This comment -- Roma people commit a disproportional amount of crime and often terrorize neighbouring local populations with crime, noise and piled trash.[8] needs to be removed. It appears to be racist, and the citation appears to be to a cite a website, whoose title appears to translate to "Gypsy criminality" or something to that effect. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.197.186.90 (talk) 03:20, 10 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

subheading "Social help" unhelpful and racist

[edit]

this subheading seems to only be here as an excuse to talk about Romani supposedly destroying housing developments granted to them by the Slovakian government. None of the articles linked to actually analyze this as a wider phenomena, and the articles themselves are not very detailed, and frankly seem to be very racist. In the four instances linked to, the headlines said that Romani destroyed the buildings, but the articles do not go into much detail about how or why the buildings were damaged, but imply that Romani people do it in order to receive new housing. This subheading needs to be heavily revised or deleted. There are many english language resources that detail what aid is and is not given to Romani in Slovakia, from more objective sources. for example: https://minorityrights.org/publications/press-equality/ Sneetsneet (talk) 01:03, 23 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
