Russian article

[edit]

There is a Russian article on this subject [1] But I don't know how to make a link to it in the left column.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.16.88.14 (talkcontribs) 19:49, 4 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Diagram needed

[edit]

The various photos of rotary transformers don't really show what's going on. A cross-section SVG diagram would help explain the subject better. — QuicksilverT @ 17:06, 11 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Found a diagram used in the German Wikipedia article (File:Rotationstrafo_Schnitt.svg) and linked to it in the English article. The diagram needs a bit of work, though, since it depicts the stator as being fused to the shaft ("axis"), where it should show an air gap. — QuicksilverT @ 07:14, 17 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
