This article about Rudy Flyer, the mascot of the Universiy of Dayton is pertinent because it is truly part of the culture of the school.

Moreover, it was elected one of the hottest mascot of the nation by Sports Illustrated.

I've redirected it to Dayton Flyers, which includes mention of the mascot (a mention that will never be more than a stub anyway).
