"Ganson Gate"
[edit]Gotta admit, I've never even heard of this term, but is this section really a criticism of the RFL or of Steve Ganson and Ashley Klein? Nothing at all is said in it about the RFL. GW(talk) 15:59, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
Category moves
[edit]The WP:BOLD category moves have been reverted. It is not as if there are thousands of entries in Category:Rugby league governing bodies. They are mush easier to find if they are in one place. Daicaregos (talk) 16:35, 9 April 2010 (UTC)

Northern
[edit]There appears to be a contradiction in the lede about when the Northern Union became the RFL. Currently it says, "Established as the Northern Rugby Football Union ... in ... 1895 ..., it changed its name in 1922 to the Rugby Football League ... Eventually the "Northern" was dropped from its name at the beginning of the 1980s." Which was it - 1922 or the 1980s? If the latter, which year, and is there a source to support it? Mooretwin (talk) 14:14, 23 November 2017 (UTC)
- Encyclopedia Britannica suggests in 1922 it became the RFL [1]. Mattlore (talk) 19:58, 23 November 2017 (UTC)
