Are there any known references that prove Joseph Frost was ever referred to as "Frosty"? I cannot recall this nickname being used even once in either the original release or the GameCube remake. Gamer Junkie 06:29, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Who Shot Enrico?

[edit]

There seams to be confusion on what actually happens to Enrico in RE. The murderer as you know is off screen so one can only go by what is said.

It is stated in some places it was Wesker, and other places Barry. Technically speaking it was either of them. Like many games it changes depending on what you (The player) have done.

In Chris's mission it is Wesker who kills Enrico, he says so him self later on, Barry isn't even involved in this mission.

In Jill's mission it is different depending on what has been done. If you (Jill) find Enrico alone, then it is Barry who did the deed. This is suported in the "Wesker Report" which shows a clip of Jill and Enrico shortly before he dies and Barry is not there (Wesker states he sent Barry to find and kill Enrico).

How ever if Barry is acompanying Jill when Enrico dies, it can't possibly be him and therfore can only be Wesker.

I'm not sure who the "Canon" murderer is. MJN SEIFER 11:08, 27 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't believe Capcom have ever elaborated on the event. However, Wesker shoots Enrico in the majority of sequences, so I'd put my money on him. Capcom also generally use their "good" plotlines as canon, so it's almost certainly Wesker. In any case it's correct, as both Barry and Wesker can kill Enrico during gameplay. Forrest vs. Forest

[edit]

I am almost 100% sure it is spelt Forrest but I don't have the time to check. I noticed this when I watched the gameplay preview for Umbrella Chronicles and the subtititles say Forrest with two Rs.

It's spelt both ways, I believe. "Forrest" in the original PlayStation release, "Forest" in the GameCube remake. Either way is correct. Gamer Junkie 19:36, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Kevin Dooley.jpg

[edit]

Image:Kevin Dooley.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

STARS

[edit]

Hello! I don't know if we have an article on S.T.A.R.S., but here's a reference: Jeremy Parish, "RPD/STARS," Electronic Gaming Monthly 224 (January 2008), 100. Sincerely, --Le Grand Roi des CitrouillesTally-ho! 19:30, 24 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think we had an article on the RPD, which included a STARS section, but it got deleted. Geoff B (talk) 21:05, 24 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Megred Richard Aiken in to this article

[edit]

I merged Richard Aiken (S.T.A.R.S.) into this article, the disscution page for that article was blocked!?  Doktor  Wilhelm  —Preceding comment was added at 21:36, 24 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You're going to have to get that back. Inform an admin. LOTRrules (talk) 19:45, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Pardon?  Doktor  Wilhelm  19:59, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well if you lost it (I assume) inform an admin and see if he/she can help...LOTRrules (talk) 20:13, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I've not lost it, it was a small none notable stub, I copied and pasted it into this article and now it looks much better and more at home (though a history of the original is available Here).  Doktor  Wilhelm  03:46, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Change the name

[edit]

I propose to change the articles name from STARS members in Resident Evil to Special Tactics and Rescue Squad (Resident Evil)LOTRrules (talk) 19:44, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Keep as is, I think the article is okay where it is, the term "Special Tactics and Rescue Squad" isn't known by everyone, as such it would make searching for this subject/aricle hard for the public.  Doktor  Wilhelm  20:03, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Not to mention the fact that it's the Special Tactics And Rescue Service. "Squad" is a non canon film reference. Gamer Junkie T / C 00:24, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
is anything it shuold be renamed as "STARS members (Resident Evil)" as the "in" part is rather obvious.  Doktor  Wilhelm  00:49, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
So shall we rename it then? LOTRrules (talk) 20:14, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I think I will LOTRrules (talk) 20:15, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

S.T.A.R.S. Teams Photo

[edit]

Who are the members shown, from left to right?  Doktor  Wilhelm  04:56, 9 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Upper: Unknown, Forest Speyer, Kenneth Sullivan, Unknown, Albert Wesker, Barry Burton, Brad Vickers.
Lower: Richard Aiken (original release appearance), Enrico Marini, Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Joseph Frost.
The two unknown characters are so because they never appeared in-game before Resident Evil 2 when this photo first appeared. Both pilots are supposed to be standing at the far end of the photograph, and the fact that neither are holding weapons suggests that the guy on the upper far left is supposed to be Bravo's pilot, Edward Dewey. However, Resident Evil: Zero clearly models Edward Dewey's character after the unknown character standing next to Wesker, who was originally probably supposed to be the team's medic before Rebecca Chambers joined the team. With the only character not identified after the remake and Zero being the guy on the upper far left, he could now only be the team's original medic or Kevin Dooley. This is speculation, though, so don't add it. Gamer Junkie T / C 06:38, 9 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
