Talk:Sales lead
it would be helpful to discuss also typical lead status and ratings (such as hot/warm/cold). (maybe with hints what is used by the mayor CRM software solutions).
- It would be even more useful if we were actually given a definition of the term 'lead' (which is what I was actually looking up). At the moment the article looks like a block of text copied straight from the middle of a chapter from some university business course book. We could do with a bit of formatting here, and maybe an introduction! 1812ahill (talk) 19:52, 30 May 2011 (UTC)
New comment: I've looked this up because of controversial (scam) use of "lead gen" - a term I knew nothing about. It would be good to include a portion describing controversial 'scam' uses on internet of 'lead gen' tactics, for example in games played by many Face Book users on FB. Merge Lead generation here
[edit]- The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
- Minimal discussion, almost two years since last input. No consensus for merging.
Lead generation is a thin ad listing so can painlessly be replaced with a redirect to this article. Hcobb (talk) 19:18, 22 November 2011 (UTC)
Lead generation is a sales and marketing activity, sales leads are the outcome. As such, they should remain as separate articles.
- I went ahead with the merge because this page was completely barren. —Asgardiator Iä! Iä! 21:37, 11 September 2015 (UTC)
