This beautiful town has many historic legends due to the lock of historians and writers a the time there are no records to count on. However as I was growing up in this small town there was only one school, one clinic no gas stations two pharmacies and multiple small tiendas we called them mini-stores my recollections dates from where there horses coming down with people from the nearby villages, they will leave the horses where now is the part there where some big trees where the horses were tied on so their owners can do their shopping's for the week or so, there was a big ceiba tree next to the church on the left side of it and the other cieba tree was almost across from my mom's house on what was called avenida Villanova those trees are no longer alive other interesting place was el paso de las India's which lead to one side of the river of Jutiapa my grandma (Jovita Martell De Hernandez) used to said that this road was what the India's took to go to the river it was a common site to go and one of the most visited. There is so much to comment of traditions I will research and put together other events. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.154.40.122 (talk) 17:51, 29 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
