Is Sangha prakrit or sanskrit ?

[edit]

The Sanskrit term for Sangha is Samgha(with an m) so why is it that other are claiming it as a Sanskrit term ? Bodhiupasaka (talk) 07:40, 26 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Those are just different transliterations of the same Sanskrit word (both pronounced the same), the latter merely being a more "scholarly" transliteration. Do not disrupt articles if you are unaware of transliterations and explicit word origins. Gotitbro (talk) 08:11, 26 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Both Sangha(Prakrit) and Samgha(Sanskrit) have different pronunciations. It is not my fault that you are woefully ignorant on that. It is amusing to accuse me of disruptive edits, when you were actually blocked for doing the same . Bodhiupasaka (talk) 14:09, 6 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

term used by RSS? or for RSS?

[edit]

I think this line in the lead — "It is used in modern times by groups such as the political party and social movement Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh." — should write that this term is used for groups like RSS instead of by groups like RSS because as far as I know people call RSS "Sangha" in short.
