Confusion about Botad District

It's difficult to describe, Whether entire Botad District is a part of Saurashtra or Some portions only? If entire Botad District is a part of Saurashtra, Saurashtra contains 11 districts. If Some portions only, Saurashtra contains 10 districts. If you compare 1878's kathiyawar(saurashtra) Map published in 1896 GAZETTEERS OF THE BOMBAY PRESIDENCY - 85 to 90% current day botad district area covered under gohelvad province of kathiyawar peninsula except ranpur.
