Additional refs

[edit]

Per the discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Scottish Field about the difficulty of internet searches for further refs without just landing on a plethora of hits from the magazines own web site, I've had a little bit of success by searching individual other publications by prefixing the search with "site:", so e.g. "site:dailyfoo.com "scottish field"", to exclude hits at the Scottish Field site.

I'm not sure if this Herald article regarding a mangement buyout of Holmes McDougall publishers contradicts the existing article's mention of a management buyout or whether it refers to a different part of the history but the article states "Not included in the deal is the company's magazine operation, which has been transferred to George Outram & Company, publishers of the Glasgow Herald and Evening Times. The popular titles involved include the prestigious monthly magazine Scottish Field...". Worth adding in if we can see how it fits in the history? Mutt Lunker (talk) 11:42, 3 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
