The current revision claims that we don't know what Ino will do about her feelings of worthlessness. We *do* know what Ino later decides to do, actually. In the manga, particularly the most recent chapters (I think it was #339, but it might be a chapter or two back, there were a few references), we see talk of Ino having or offering to use medical techniques. Being Sakura's rival, it's pretty likely that she also studied to become a medical ninja. Both the manga and anime have been showing signs of increasing numbers of medical ninja ever since Tsunade's arrival, for that matter, especially after she and Shikamaru discussed their tactical importance and relative scarcity.
