Crude[edit]

This page is poorly-written, as if done by a child. If someone could edit it, that would be good.

Sep. 21, 2006 - I think that the article is fairly well written. Perhaps this comment was directed at a previous version?

Reviews[edit]

Can anyone hunt down some reviews for this film? If anyone does find some, thanks in advanced.121.1.51.190 12:10, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Questions[edit]

Unless I missed a part of the movie, but:

  • what happened to Jasmine (the princess)
  • why did the two come back to the US?
  • why was the money in broken-open vaults (did they convert the coins and where they just sloppy?)

Or does one need to get the super-duper-extended-edition for this? :) Jeroen —Preceding unsigned comment added by JeroenMassar (talkcontribs) 21:00, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Jasmine died in Child Birth NewMexicoMan24 (talk) 21:41, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If memory serves Jasmine died in child-birth and the brothers came home simply because they were ready to leave Africa and its memories behind. I'm not sure what you mean by your last question, though. EmilyELewis (talk) 04:18, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

just saw the movie recently. Yes, Jasmine died in child birth. I assume their service in the FFL was over and they returned. Most likely the gold was converted to cash. Having it in loose money and bank bags helped give the impression that maybe it was stolen loot. Emb021129.188.33.25 (talk) 18:50, 31 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Missing Actors[edit]

Robert Duvall doesn't appear in the actors list who performed in the movie... :S —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kacex (talkcontribs) 19:14, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

December 2016[edit]

The plot was irresponsibly inflated and has now been cut down to guideline length. The film also dodges about in time, so a sequential account is not the most coherent and that has been changed too.

The rest of the entry is very low on references and much of it will have to be deleted unless this changes in a reasonable time. Who says the film has cult status, and where? What on earth does the garbled rubbish mean under the final heading "Closing Credits"? Where do the figures under "Reception" come from? Mzilikazi1939 (talk) 18:13, 10 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
