The is page, and the pages it links, don't explain the semiconductor physics of selenium cells. As well as I know it, it is amorphous Se on an iron substrate, and with a thin layer of gold on the front. One then has to make contact to the iron and cold. You can't solder, as that will be above the melting point of Se. Gah4 (talk) 15:25, 25 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
