two director rumor

The "two directors" rumor probably began after YOU CAN'T CHEAT AN HONEST MAN(1939),where Fields' relationship with director George Marshall was so adversarial that Edward Cline was brought in to direct Fields while Marshall did the rest of the picture. 198.23.5.30 (talk) 14:41, 13 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
