Gumling
[edit]Gumling, is a tiny village, 3 km from Keylong in Lahoul & Spiti distt. of Himachal Pradesh. This tiny village lies on the right bank of the Bhaga river which later confluences with chandra river to form the chandrabhaga or chenab river.
Economy: agriculture forms the major part of the economy. Wine selling and dairy form the minor part. Crops grown are mainly peas, potatoes, cauliflower. The place is rich with various flora and fauna.
Demography: four families form the village with a total population around 20-25.
Religion: Buddhism is the only religion followed here.
climate: during summers there is moderate climate with maximum temperature going upto 30 degrees and minimum going upto 15. while winters are severely cold with slowfall.
