Merger proposal[edit]

I don't understand why this article has been proposed for merger or deletion. There are articles on all four of Muhammad Ali's wives in Wikipedia. (see Personal life section of his article) Why are people proposing that the article for his first wife be deleted? Just leave it alone, or better yet do something positive – find some stuff like her birthdate, where she was born, and where she grew up, what she died from - and add to the article.--Hokeman 14:03, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This person has no notability outside of Ali, and is therefore a prime candidate for deletion. I suggested a merge simply because there is so little info here that it could be swallowed easily into the other article. But I'm ok with deleting if you prefer... I'm going to disagree with merging back in simple for the sake that all his other wifes have articles about themselves, thus it would look weird for one to be mentioned in the article and not the others. Plus Muhammad Ali is already so long we do not want to be doing things which will be making it even longer. Mathmo ^Talk 22:59, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
