Availability in the U.S.

[edit]

Where can we buy the Sony Ericsson K850 in the United States? It seems as though the latest edition available for sale in the U.S. is the K790a. Does anyone know where we can find the K850 through a major vendor? (like Amazon.com, etc.) I don't want to buy it through a small vendor, like buy-a-cell-phone-now.com or super-dee-duper-gadgets.com, as small sites tend to have HORRIBLE reliability in terms of shipping, quality, etc. —Preceding unsigned comment added by UnitedStatesOfAmerica1 (talkcontribs) 00:00, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please Refrain from buying any Sony Products plese visit http://www.consumercomplaints.in/bycompany/sony-ericsson-k850i-a18900.html before you make your decision —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.164.39.80 (talk) 15:48, 10 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Double Memory

[edit]

Is this just a single really fancy slot that will take either a micro sd or m2? Or are there actually two slots allowing you to have both a m2 and micro sd in the phone at the same time?

Lets switch to SonyEricsson

i think it fits in same slot.

anyone know when it will be released? im not sure whether to wait for this or just get k810.

removal of the "spam" links?

[edit]

why are people removing all the various links and reviews? i recall there being some sort of wiki rules saying blogs are not suitable sources and stuff (sorry but i cant quite remember the exact details) but looking back through the history, some of the sites like quite useful and informative. DVB-H (mobile TV)

[edit]

Where is this information coming from, about the K850's DVB-H feature? Would be gorgeous, but I cannot find anything about that on SE's tech specs [1] —Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.209.79.2 (talk) 12:36, 28 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Sony ericsson k850 a.jpg

[edit]

Image:Sony ericsson k850 a.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

I give up. This is getting so darn complicate - I'm astonished that there are only 10 points that have to be considered while posting such a press photo. I would have expected to follow 40 to 50 rules, considering how en.wikipedia changed in a negative manner. I acknowledge that I wrote terrible fair use rationales for all my previous image postings, but fail to understand when it comes to Image:Sony ericsson k850 a.jpg Please delete the image and release me from this strain. Oh and by the way - this phone introduced a new feature - the slider switch where you can choose "picture, video, play" mode. Everything else I described when starting this article is shown on the picture. That's the reason I used exactly this shot, then reduced the jpg from 20something MB to those few kb. rigelt 20:10, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Taken a picture myself of the phone, no copyright issues ;-) Craighennessey 23:50, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
