Map
[edit]Do you think you could find a smaller map of the region it lives in? --IvanTortuga 01:46, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
living fossil?
[edit]I was under the impression that the term living fossil was applied to things that had fossil records which established the relation between the extant version and the ancient one. "There is no fossil record for the family" is stated here. At the same time it is in Category:living fossils. How was it determined that it belonged in that category? — JediRogue (talk) 08:14, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
Taxonomy
[edit]The taxonomy apparently needs an update. Both, Frost 2011, and Amphibiaweb, take Nasikabatrachus into a separate family Nasikabatrachidae, while Sooglossidae consists of 2 genera (Sooglossus, Sechellophryne) and 4 species. -- 91.54.223.107 (talk) 17:18, 22 July 2011 (UTC)
