Spelling

[edit]

Do notice the difference of spelling between the geographical region Pine Hills and the neighborhood The Pinehills. The spelling of both is correct. It does get confusing when people try to reference one or the other. Ed 22:40, 30 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • The problem is, neither Pine Hills or The Pinehills belong on the list. Pine Hills is a geographic region, not a neighborhood. The Pinehills is a development, not a neighborhood. "Pine Hills" should be removed. I removed it from the list not because I am unfamiliar with the spelling, but because one is not a neighborhood and does not belong there. However, I will not remove it yet, as you seem to feel otherwise. The spelling is not the problem; it is the placement. Raime 16:14, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
According to the ACS, 4,724 souls resided in The Pinehills in 2020. The commercial center has restaurants, dry cleaner, and more and future development plans for more retail. Fire station, package store, gas station...what more do you need for a village? Most importantly, as an outsider, my observation is that The Pinehills residents have a sense of "community." 73.100.232.168 (talk) 15:39, 5 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of list

[edit]

The lengthy list of neighborhoods should not have been in this article, and thus I removed it. The list of neighborhoods is found at the article page Neighborhoods in Plymouth, Massachusetts. A mention of some villages cvan be found in the lead or a new section, but the list was out of place. Raime 16:14, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
