Part returns to the Thames?

The concluding part of the ‘Course’ section of River Loddon suggests - although somewhat unclearly - that part of the waters of St Patrick's Stream returns directly to the Thames, and part joins the final stretch of the Loddon before returning to the Thames. The OS map suggests that this the case, but the direction of flow of the various channels here is not clear (if indeed it remains constant).
