NPOV
[edit]This has been marked NPOV, but has no discussion history. I'm going to go ahead and remove the obviously non-neutral material and unset the NPOV. ERobson 03:16, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
Expansion
[edit]This article could use some added content, and perhaps an in-depth analysis, but I'm not sure exactly what. -ZeroTalk 11:50, 16 February 2006 (UTC)
- This article could use some added content - so could the film ;) --88.96.3.206 21:53, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
Are the weapons really lasers? The special effects look like strobe lights, and they were using normal rifles only a few years back, so I assumed they were something like muzzle flashes from projectiles. Something like the stereotypical "blue smoke spiral" from many sci-fi railguns. On a similar note, what ever happened to that big BFG-looking gun from the end of the first one? You know, the one that vaporized the entire hill in one blast...
- At one point, a "light rifle" is mentioned... and in the RTS there are not only Morita rifles but also PRISM Light Rifles, that shoot blue beams. Guess that's what it's referring to. Plus having LEDs on the barrels is cheaper than to pay out for blanks... Slavedriver 18:55, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
I know what you mean about their BFG. Most likely another one of the Terrans propogander videos. Alas.
Last sentences in plot - make no sense?
[edit]Maybe its me, but I just don't understand it. I just saw the movie and did see the scene, but I don't remember the officer being mortified. Also, I agree, the movie is very bad. Though knowing how little money they had, it isn't that bad, IMO.--Cyberman TM (talk) 20:32, 3 October 2009 (UTC)
- I'll be cleaning it up one day. I was kind of hoping the thing you pointed out would be fixed by now (it's been wrong for months). I'll do that now, but the rest of the article will have to wait a while.
- Also, it doesn't really matter what the film was like (I hate it too, as a fan of both the book and the original film, but I don't comment on it). The dreadful plot can't be excused by money issues, though. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 10:12, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
