Was Mussolini King?

[edit]

The article states "this convention was so strongly established that in 1925, Mussolini had to pass a law which specifically stated that he was not responsible to Parliament." Presumably Parliament did not share his view, or else Mussolini would not have had to pass a law. But this merely begs the question: if Parliament refused to act, how did Mussolini pass the law? This part of the article needs clarification.

@John Paul Parks: It is explained with the Acerbo Law, it allowed Mussolini to have more deputies than other parties. Temp0000002 (talk) 14:18, 6 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Subject Deputies

[edit]

It is said in the main page that Deputies were required to be "Italian" subjects but the Article No.40 says they had to be "King's" subjects. Is there a contradiction? Temp0000002 (talk) 16:35, 7 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
