  • For those unfamiliar with the city and its neighborhoods a pin map in the infobox would be good.
Hmmm, when I try adding one, it doesn't appear to be working. I'll find someone to help with this. APK whisper in my ear 21:50, 5 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • In the first two paragraphs of the History section it's not clear what ref references what. It's OK if its one ref to place it at the bottom of paragraphs but if it's two. refs 3 and 5 it's difficult for the reader to know what source backs what. I would prefer if that was made clearer with more inline citations further up in paragraphs. For instance "It was the nation's first veterans association open to both officers and enlisted men and membership grew to over 400,000", I wouldn't know whether to check ref 3 or 5 for this.
I'll work on this at home. I need my books. APK whisper in my ear 21:50, 5 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • "A resolution passed by the Senate" -do we know when?

  • No need to link 7th Street again in design. Temperance Fountain also.

  • When you give the description I think it would be more useful to the reader to also have a another full photograph of the monument which can be looked at during the reading. I would move down the image in dedication and create a double image with relief.

  • Do you have access to Newspapers.com? Sometimes that's good for events like the dedication of this.
Unfortunately, no. With this and related articles, I've been using the Library of Congress newspaper archives. APK whisper in my ear 21:50, 5 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
