Subsampling is also a term used in computer grahpics for creating lower-resolution images from higher ones, or filling in holes in models (e.g. in Point Cloud models). It is related to Resampling. I'm not sure if this is grounds for keeping this page in Wikipedia but I thought it should be mentioned. --Culix 22:56, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
