Many aspects -if not the entire video were staged...
[edit]This article doesn't mention at all that there are many identifiable actors and actresses in the video, and instead reads like it was entirely genuine. This should be updated. Here's one link: http://www.cosmopolitan.com/entertainment/celebs/news/a35402/maroon-5-sugar-video-fake-weddings/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.119.165.84 (talk) 18:34, 17 January 2015 (UTC)
- Seconded. There was even an actor who admitted he played the Asian father at one of the weddings.
Can not agree more with the above users. Tomica has been removing all my edits with extra sources to prove the video has been staged (at least partially) and is intent on making it seem like the video is genuine. He's clearly abusing his rights. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Emynimbley (talk • contribs) 19:08, 21 January 2015 (UTC)
- The sources you are adding are from gossip sites? Why do you need more when there is a mention from some? And yeah, I don't believe in publications conspiracy theories, especially from gossip sites... — Tomíca(T2ME) 19:12, 21 January 2015 (UTC)
- I would hardly classify Jezebel and Cosmopolitan as just gossip sites, they are women's magazines. I'm adding more sources because you clearly do not believe that the video is staged even when confronted with blatant evidence[1]. Why else would they be hiring actors? It's not conspiracy theories when the actors themselves from the music video say it's been staged. Maybe if you cover your ears and hum loud enough, you'll be able to ignore the evidence.
- The evidence you placed is totally unreliable for Wikipedia. Also, nor the actors, nor anyone confirmed via official sources or social media (I tried to find the Asian actors post, and was NOWHERE) that they are the ones in the video. All of that is a speculation, and Wikipedia is not a fucking gossip site like Yahoo! Celebrities or whatever. We have sources from Life & Style and Rolling Stone which are enough to explain the claims which were made on zero basis. And don't use that language on me, or try to add some of the gossip site sources, cause I swear I am gonna call an admin in the discussion, which will be bad for you. — Tomíca(T2ME) 19:58, 23 January 2015 (UTC)
- HAHAHAHAHA use what language on you? I'm not the one swearing and getting pissed over a wikipedia page. Each time I try to add a source WITH the Asian actors' statements, YOU remove it - you're the one choosing to ignore what is in front of you because you are so desperate to prove that the video is 100% not staged. Not to mention that if you look at the Raina's social media accounts, you will see a statement from her saying that she enjoyed FILMING for the music video. If you are too lazy to seek the sources then I do not see the need to continue discussing this with you. I have never encountered someone so petty before, but PLEASE do call in an admin, I'd love to see how it will be bad for me. I have done nothing wrong and always cited my sources.
