Fair use rationale for Image:Dhruva Poster.jpg

Image:Dhruva Poster.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This article has lists which need to be formatted as 'lists'! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 59.180.75.230 (talk) 03:52, 17 July 2008 (UTC)

Could we get someone who ACTUALLY speaks english

This article is a mash of poor grammar and mis-spellings, leading me to believe that one of our "well trained" call center friends has done the editing.

What I'm trying to say is that the language skills of the people doing recent edits is too poor to effectively contribute. Since I don't know enough about this character, I'm refraining from making changes for the time being. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 166.195.243.105 (talk) 16:53, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

Cleaning up

I am a fan of the character and am a bit appalled to see the language and construct of the article. I will be cleaning up the article to at least make it read better. Varunr (talk) 08:28, 18 October 2011 (UTC)

Cleaning up phase 2

Removed a lot of redundant and unnecessary information from the page. Corrected a lot of spellings, fixed some grammar too. Lots of work to be done, but we'll get there. Varunr (talk) 08:08, 2 November 2011 (UTC)

Made more changes and added some citations. It's slowly becoming relevant, but still, a lot of work to do. We'll get there.Varunr (talk) 12:12, 12 November 2011 (UTC)

Help wanted

I've been cleaning up this article and now request help from other Dhruva comic readers in getting this article up to a certain standard. Varunr (talk) 06:52, 22 November 2011 (UTC)

No? Nobody?Varunr (talk) 10:57, 14 February 2012 (UTC)

I'm a huge fan of Super Commando Dhruv and would like to contribute to make this a world class page. This page needs a lot of corrections and editing. Will do as and when I get time.Skagrawal4k (talk) 14:52, 3 June 2012 (UTC)

Cleaning Up

I am making changes but it will take some time, too bad I am unable to find references. Siddhartha Shah 14:56 , 23 February 2012 (UTC)

Excellent work. Just made a few minor tweaks. Yes, there aren't too many measurable references to cite. Keep up the good work and the hunt!Varunr (talk) 05:21, 18 April 2012 (UTC)

Giving it a whole new look

I've updated the infobox. It looks much better and accurate now. Also I've worked on the introductory portion of the page right above the 'contents table'. I've seen batman, superman, spiderman pages. Dhruva's page looks much inferior and 'local', if you know what I mean. All these pages are featured articles and wiki treasures. If we want to make Dhruva's page a world class one, I think we should take a cue from these pages. Yes, there are not enough references to cite, but atleast the writing can be as good as these pages. I've decided to write under the same heads as these pages. Therefore right now I'm working on 'publication history' in my sandbox. Will publish it soon. If someone with decent English wants to volunteer for 'fictional character biography', that would be great. Also I was thinking about creating a separate page for the 'list of comics issues' like these other pages. Even nagraj's list of comics has been published on a separate page. Would like to know what some of the other editors feel. If I could get some help, it'd be great, otherwise I'll still continue to do the job coz I want to make Dhruva's page as good as bat's and sup's.Skagrawal4k (talk) 15:27, 7 June 2012 (UTC)

Removing the tags

The article has undergone wholesome changes eer since it was last tagged. Although there is still work to be done, I believe that the tags can go now. Will request for assessment once I feel the article is complete.Skagrawal4k (talk) 20:11, 6 July 2012 (UTC)

Automatic archiving

There is less discussion and more clutter on the talk page, mostly regarding some images that previous editors had uploaded without providing a fair use rationale. I am thinking about clearing up the talk page clutter by activating auto archiving for this page. Hoping for a consensus though I think there aren't any active editors on this page apart from me, atleast in the past couple of months. If someone replies in a day or two, it'd be good otherwise I'd go ahead with the archiving process.Skagrawal4k (talk) 10:04, 13 July 2012 (UTC)

Going ahead with archiving.Skagrawal4k (talk) 19:17, 14 July 2012 (UTC)

Other languages??

The English wiki article of Dhruva is in pretty good shape now. Do we have any other language experts who can create Dhruva wiki article in other languages apart from the existing Hindi and English languages? I'm not really hopeful but still asking. Though I think it's too much to ask considering that there aren't too many active editors on Dhruva's English wiki page and dhruva's Hindi wiki page is in a very bad shape, let alone having Dhruva's article in other languages. Still would want to request any dhruva fan who is adept at other languages to create a page there too. Skagrawal4k (talk) 09:35, 21 July 2012 (UTC)
