Wine auction

Not worthy of comment in the main article, but perhaps of interest to researchers, might be an auction by Messrs. Christie, Manson & Woods, on 13 May 1904, of “The Cellar of Choice Wines of J. A. de Macedo, Esq. Of Leventhorpe Hall, Swillington, Yorkshire: (Sold in consequence of the Expiration of the Lease)”. (My picture #20730.)
