Copyvio issue
[edit]This seems to have been copied verbatim from the Club's website - rewrite it with less detail and add a link to the website - Tim Fellows 23:14, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
Origin and naming
[edit]Presumably the team is named by reference to the aircraft factory at South Marston. Vickers-Armstrongs produced Supermarine Spitfires. Did the team originate from the factory workforce ? It seems this is an interesting aspect that could be written up, if it is so. Thoughts ? Thanks !--jrl 05:25, 28 August 2010 (UTC)
Supermarine Sports?
[edit]Is this team in any way related to Supermarine Sports FC? The club seems to have played for part of the 2012/13 season of the Wiltshire Premier before withdrawing, then came second in the same league the following season, and seem to have dissolved in 2014 according to Companies House. --82.21.97.70 (talk) 18:56, 27 July 2020 (UTC)
